Everybody loves bacon . . . salty, crispy, fatty goodness. Irresistible. You can add bacon to almost anything and it’s going to taste good. Well, bacon infused vodka I’m not so sure about.
Anyhoo . . . this recipe is an appetizer that I bring to most gatherings, parties and holiday occasions. Sweet, salty, crunchy . . . NOM! It’s quick, it’s easy and it is super yummy! Bacon wrapped water chestnuts are great to make ahead of time and reheated.
A real crowd pleaser!

- 1 Tsp. Dried Mustard
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Cut the bacon into thirds. Wrap the bacon around the water chestnut and place seam side down in a baking pan.
Cook on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees until browned. Drain on paper towels. Place the baked water chestnuts in a serving dish and pour the sauce over them. When you’re ready to serve, bake in a 350 degree oven until bubbly – about 15 – 20 minutes. Avoid unnecessary stirring.
